AI STRATEGY + IMPLEMENTATION FOR HEALTHCARE

Find the friction.
Build the system.
Move the practice forward.

Helix Kai helps healthcare organizations identify operational bottlenecks, determine where AI and automation genuinely make sense, and implement systems that reduce administrative burden without compromising the human side of care.

Strategy first. Technology second. Outcomes always.
THE HELIX KAI APPROACH
01
Observe the operation

Understand how work actually moves through the organization.

02
Identify the friction

Find recurring bottlenecks, duplication, delays, and founder dependency.

03
Design the right system

Use AI, automation, integrations, or better process design where they create real value.

04
Implement and optimize

Deploy practical systems your team can use, measure, and improve.

Healthcare-focusedBuilt around operational realities
Human-centeredTechnology supports people, not the reverse
Implementation-mindedFrom diagnosis to deployed workflow
Outcome-drivenLess friction. More capacity. Better execution.
WHAT WE DO

Practical systems for the work that slows healthcare organizations down.

We do not begin with a tool. We begin with the workflow. Helix Kai examines where time, attention, and opportunity are being lost—then designs the right operational response.

01

Operational Assessment

Map workflows, identify bottlenecks, surface recurring administrative burden, and uncover where critical processes depend too heavily on one person.

02

AI & Workflow Automation

Design automations for repetitive, rules-based work such as follow-up, communication, routing, data handling, internal coordination, and business development.

03

Systems Integration

Connect the tools your organization already uses so information moves cleanly between scheduling, CRM, email, forms, internal systems, and reporting.

04

Implementation & Optimization

Move from concept to working system, then refine performance based on team feedback, operational data, and changing business needs.

WHERE WE LOOK

Common areas of operational friction

Scheduling Lead & patient communication Follow-up Administrative workflows Recruiting & onboarding Documentation routing Business development Training & internal coordination CRM workflows Reporting & handoffs
HOW IT WORKS

We diagnose before we automate.

The most expensive automation is the one built around a process that should never have existed in the first place.

1

Discover

We learn how your organization operates, where work gets stuck, and which problems recur.

2

Diagnose

We separate process problems from technology problems and prioritize the highest-value opportunities.

3

Design

We architect the workflow, automation, integration, or operating system that best fits the problem.

4

Deploy

We implement, test, document, and refine the system with the people who will actually use it.

ABOUT HELIX KAI

Built for the intersection of operations, people, and technology.

Helix Kai was founded on a simple premise: efficiency should create capacity—not simply pressure people to do more. We help organizations build systems that reduce unnecessary friction and allow people to focus on the work that requires judgment, relationships, and leadership.

Amalfi Landini

Amalfi Landini brings more than a decade of experience across bovine genetics, ranch management, business operations, and organizational leadership. Her career has been grounded in understanding how businesses function at the operational level—where inefficiencies develop, where processes break down, and where better systems can create measurable impact.

As Co-Founder of Helix Kai, Amalfi brings that operational perspective to AI, automation, and technology implementation, helping organizations identify bottlenecks and build more efficient, scalable systems.

CO-FOUNDER

James “Doc” Sanders

James “Doc” Sanders is a U.S. Navy veteran and former Navy Corpsman who served alongside the United States Marine Corps, including deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a Petty Officer Third Class and Senior Corpsman for Charlie Battery, his responsibilities included battlefield trauma, triage, medical readiness, and operational support.

His duties extended beyond medicine. James oversaw the unit’s SAMS medical-readiness database, served as Preventive Medicine Petty Officer (PMPO), and fulfilled responsibilities as Supply Petty Officer—giving him hands-on experience in information management, readiness, logistics, and supply operations.

At Helix Kai, James brings that mission-focused approach to systems and operations: understand the environment, identify points of failure, and build processes people can depend on.

THE EFFICIENT PRACTICE

Conversations with the people building healthcare from the inside.

The Efficient Practice explores what it really takes to build healthcare organizations that work—not only for the people they serve, but for the professionals responsible for making them run.

Each conversation examines leadership, operations, growth, administrative burden, technology, and the systems that either support healthcare professionals or quietly exhaust them.
